Showing my appreciation for the blog love I’m finding post-publication of Committed: A Memoir of the Artist’s Road…

My blog tour following the publication of Committed: A Memoir of the Artist’s Road continues with a writing craft post of mine on the award-winning blog by K.M. Weiland, Helping Writers Become Authors. K.M.’s readership largely comprises fiction writers, so I kept that in mind in writing a piece about crafting dialogue in your stories. In my post I illustrate lessons I learned in writing a memoir in determining when dialogue both advances your story and the reader’s understanding of your characters.

I’m also pleased to have been interviewed by creativity maven Melanie Sklarz on her fine blog Dose of Creativity. She asks me some questions about Committed and the road trip it encapsulates; Melanie also provides a review, writing “I can’t recommend this book highly enough.”

If you like tweets on writing and creativity, you should definitely follow @KMWeiland and @DoseofCre8ivity.
